Review of Marinara Pizza at Eataly Toronto by shlumpadinka

Went with family for lunch, as they really like the place- the only two vegan options being offered at the area of the restaurant we were in were this and a plain pasta dish. I opted for the pizza figuring it’d be less calories (I’m on a diet) but it was soaked in oil to the point I was having a panic attack and had to stop eating. I understand that it’s the style of pizza to have oil, but it was just waaaaay too much for me, felt like soup😭 the taste in general was good, but it was also really difficult to bite through the crust- maybe I’m just uncultured🤷‍♀️😂 $17 for oil soup pizza also seemed a bit steep to be honest😭

The restaurant itself was really cute, and you can watch them make your pizza on a big tv behind the cooks- i’d go back again, but get the pasta instead lol
