Review of Zesty Quinoa at Real Food Penang Vegetarian Restaurant by dafnelately

I think calling this #zesty is a stretch 🤏 Salty, more like. The entire thing tastes like they poured the leftover water from the #olives over it 🫒 Delicious, but not what I was expecting 🤷‍♀️

The portion is also quite an ask for RM33 and I think this could be better with a bit of #tofu to neutralise the flavour 🫘 I did still like it though 😇

The #salad itself is simple — #quinoa plus #cherrytomatoes 🍅, plus #cucumber 🥒, and #avocado 🥑 and topped with #redcabbage too plus a simple #balsamic vinaigrette on the side too. You can add on more if you’d like, such as #bakedbeans or #corn kernels 🌽 but I can’t imagine any of them working. Sauteed #mushrooms perhaps? 🍄

Real Food is a nice #cafe to work from & their #coffee is solid so I’ve you’ve got a buck to spare and need a place to #veganatwork it’s a good shout 🗣️ Wifi is great too!
