Everybody seems to recommend this, so how can I not oblige 😋 They’re right too — this is delicious! One of the nicest #charkwayteow I’ve had in the while… BUT 👇

It lacks #wokhei and as a #kuching lang who lived in #penang for 5 years raised on my Foochow aunt’s cooking & am at present also dating a #foochow that’s a non-negotiable 😂

The got the rest of the flavours right though. It’s got as good an #umami kick as #alliumfree food can get & the toppings are definitely creative. The cubed #tofu is a nice touch but the #oystermushroom strips are definitely a first time for me 🍄

The #taugeh and pinch of mustard greens are standard too 🤏 Remember to #droptheegg when ordering this because some patrons do prefer their meal with a touch of torment 🐣

I just prefer to keep my mine to myself. Oh, but the #cilipadi I had to add to this was as mild as ever too.
