Sweet Potato Nuggets at Pepas Frituur — helena12345's Review (Jan 18, 2024)

You could very quickly guess I am Belgian, always visiting frituren. In Belgium it is ‘standard’ to visit a friterie once a week. A new #allveganrestaurant frituur (first one in Belgium!!!!) opened a few months ago in Leuven! 😄🤩🤤😋😃
It already took me way too long to visit 🙄, unfortunately Leuven is not very close. But I felt like I MUST visit.
They have, drumrolls, 36 snacks! 😳😳🤤🤩😁
I wish I could try them all, but since I am moving to norway in 6 months, Idk if it will happen…. (Ofcourse I’ll return often for family).
I started with the sweet potato nuggets 🍠. Wish is actually weird cause I am not very fond of that normally. But if you know me, you know I’ll always search for the thing that intrigues me the most or the thing I’ll never try. And I’m glad I chose this, cause it happily surprised me. Ofcourse it will never be my favorite, sweet potato (especially processed into something), but they were way better than I expected! 🤩😅😁 Ofcourse they weren’t the only snack I tried here, I am the kind of person who will go to a frituur and order just snacks and no fries (cause fries I can get in a lot of places, vegan snacks not).
