Crumpets are one of those things I knew I wanted to try during my time in London. I expected them to be sweeter, but I am glad they aren't; they'd be less versatile. From what I've heard, they are the best with butter, which I'll taste test once I buy vegan butter. Yet, they are great with date or maple syrup, and I presume wonderful with peanut butter or some jam. I also love that they are freezer friendly. I'd buy them again (I even plan to bring some with me to Spain).
