This was THE BEST dish I had in 2023, full stop, no holds. I took a gamble and tried a not fully vegan restaurant while visiting San Diego for the purpose of going to a vegan restaurant that was on my bucket list for a half decade. 

To my surprise, I had better, fresher tasting food like I was really in Italy at Civico. This Caprese salad with their in house mozza could fool any dairy lover and make an Italian kiss you on the cheek. 

You MUST go, I insist.
