KFC-style “Drumstick” at September Vegan Food — Evie's Review (Jan 11, 2024)

We’ve been to September Vegan Food three or four times now since they opened and they’ve always been sold out of these - but we finally got to try some of their KFC-style “drumsticks”. A super creative and quite tasty starter option. We had the two servings option for $8 NZD, but you can also order 4 for $14 NZD. From my distant memory, I wouldn’t say it tastes a lot like KFC in terms of spices, etc, but the coating does have a nice savoury flavour, and the texture is really fun to eat - I think made with yuba (dried beancurd sheets). Recommend trying for the experience, if you like salty, deep-fried food.
