Holland & Barrett

I'll admit, the first time I tried tempeh I was not a fan. But over the last month I've had to eat a lot of it. With ramen, in lasagne and even as taco filling. I was left with many boxes after olio collections and I'm not complaining because tempeh has certainly grown on me.
I ended up with two packs of these due to olio, nobody ever seems to collect tempeh but it's their loss because this stuff is seriously tasty and incredibly good for you. It's just tofu but less processed so it's more hearty and soulful.
These aren't spicy at all, very mild but still adds flavour to the otherwise plain tempeh. I just checked it in-between buttered bread because I do not have the spoons to come up with something better.
If you haven't already, give h&bs new fridge section a try. Also sign up for olio, it's a food sharing app where users can do training to collect from local businesses (I do h&b and onestop but you can do tesco and probably others I haven't seen). You can share household items and clothing that needs a new home too. It's been essential to my life during the cost of living crisis
