Review of Miso Vegan Ramen at Hakata Ramen + Bar by alistar

🇯🇵🍜 The server was so kind here explaining the 5 different vegan 🌱ramen options to my partner. The first two have thicker, creamier broths, while the last three are lighter with soy and miso. This was a great call for my partner who got this miso instead of the vegan tonkotsu. He went wild🤸 for this and the 🫛tofu karaage. It has a miso tare with a shiitake 🍄mushroom broth with burnt 🌽sweetcorn. She even brought a chilli🌶️ jam that we could add to spice it up as we worried the spicy miso would be too much for him. We loved everything so much as it was we didn’t want to add the chilli. The ramen was quite salty we both noticed but maybe that’s why it tasted sooooo good.

Ever since my time living in the south of Japan I’ve been obsessed with ramen, spending late nights buying a ticket from a vending machine for 500¥ 💴for a ramen from Ichiran. Yum!
