this was my first time trying a panettone: they explained it was a festive cake associated with christmas, thought i’d have a go since i was after something chocolatey. wasn’t particularly blown away by it, (admittedly I have no frame of reference). Still i got my choc fix. Awesome paired with the coffee. Defo worth going for if it’s something you’re familiar with, also i imagine like most things christmas it’d be better shared with good company. #panettonevegano
There’re lots of #fullyvegan places in Brixton, but i tend to visit Pipoca. It’s such a friendly, warm place, and i feel most welcome here.
A fully vegan cafe and zero-waste store run by a lovely family from Brasil. Amazing food and good vibes. Brasilian dishes, all-day brunches, sandwiches and savoury galettes. And a range of pastries and desserts too.
The zero-waste store is also pretty extensive (they might deliver locally). They even sell a nice range of houseplants, which i just love.
Bike parking right outside. Step-free entrances to cafe

Panettone is the most popular Christmas dessert in Italy. The traditional version is stuffed with raisins and candied fruit. I can say we're pretty obsessed 😁 and I can also say that your panettone looks better than most Italian vegan panettoni at least in terms of dough quality. Vegan pastry shops in Italy still have a loooong way to go. 😩
