Review of Vegan Chimichanga at Handlebar by aubreyj27

full disclosure i did not know what a chimichanga was even while ordering this but i knew it was popular and had heard great things about it!

i enjoyed the seitan chorizo the most; i thought it was texturally accurate and tasted great. i also enjoyed the other fillings and the tortilla, but the sauces really took it to the next level. the sauces also provided some different flavor combinations and kept everything moist but separated enough from the outside to inside of the chimichanga to prevent the whole thing from becoming “soggy.”

the presentation is beautiful, and it is totally backed up by the taste. i also liked that it came out hot and was clearly freshly prepared! definitely recommend this 🤞
