Though I enjoy Catalina Crunch cereal, they do tend to have more of a noticeable sugar substitute flavor than other cereals that use substitutes. I find it more present in some flavors than others, and unfortunately it was pretty noticeable in this one. The flavor wasn’t bad but it was more sweet than pumpkin spice. I think if they had added more spices it would have been more balanced and enjoyable.
I do love the macros on this cereal. Though it wasn’t my favorite I would repurchase if it was on clearance or if I found it at Grocery Outlet for a good deal but I would not pay full price.
