Truffle taste is very strong. I should mention that I'm not a mushroom lover and this was gifted to me.
I tried using this as a dipping sauce first and the flavour was too overwhelming having it plain. I later used it as a spread in a sandwich (very sparsley spread!), and added a dollop to my lasagna soup for extra flavour, and it was delicious both ways. It is very flavourful so a small amount goes a long way to add that extra unami oomph!
