i thought this would be a basic vinegar-y buffalo sandwich but it was NOT! my expectations were totally surpassed. i loved the chicken, and the buffalo sauce was taken down a notch by a cooling ranch sauce; the two sauces went together perfectly! the banana peppers were a welcome addition (i love banana peppers), but the cucumbers were a surprise! i haven’t seen cucumbers on a pressed sandwich before, but these cucumbers actually did a lot for the sandwich, and i’m glad they were on there! i liked the extra crunch they added for texture. this sandwich was large and in charge, and the bread held up nicely. definite recommend! and not that spicy either if that’s something you’re looking out for!
