#veganisnotscary when I have a pot of tea that I enjoy…unfortunately not this time. My first sip of this pot of tea is …bitter! I wasn’t expecting & I wonder what makes this tea so bitter. I look very carefully into the pot & do my best to identify the cause, & I guess I found it. The small limes. Not one but few. Not just the juice, but quite a few squeezed halves. I love lime juice, it is very refreshing. But when lime skin is boiled, in this case, in a hot pot of tea, it adds a lot of bitterness. I learnt this lesson when I cooked Tom Yum Soup for my first time.

This pot of tea is #naturallyvegan & received lots of hype when it was first launched with those crystal sugar sticks! I find that it is a very brilliant idea 💡 for one who likes sweeter tea, one can stir this sugar stick & control the sweetness level to one’s own perfection. It makes a good lollipop too🍭🤩🤩🤩 It was many months later that I finally ordered this pot of tea, & was looking forward to see the crystal sugar stick. Unfortunately, the cafe stops giving the sugar stick with the pot of tea.

@veganhubby was the only one sharing this pot with me. I didn’t enjoy this tea but we still refilled it a few times. The colour still remains pink after a few refills (up to half pot each time) but it has very little flavour left. This was my first time I didn’t really enjoy my cup of tea.

This is a big pot, at $12.90/pot with unlimited hot water refills. I feel that this is too much for two to share, four people would be better :)

Yet, this remains a favourite among diners. Many of the tables have a pot of this flower tea. 🙂
