Buddha Taste is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving vegetarian and vegan food. The menu is written in a way where everything is vegan unless stated otherwise. For mains, I got bun hue which is a spicy rice noodle soup. The soup also contains beansprouts, onions, spring onions, mint, coriander and mild red chillis. There is a choice of two toppings (A and B). A: nil-beef slices, pan marinated tofu, gio chay (cteamed nil-pork roll) - £11 and B: pan-grilled bok choi, shiitake, pan marinated tofu - £11.50. I went for A, the nil-beef set. The soup was very good, it felt very authentic and much like what my mum would make at home. I enjoyed all the toppings, tofu is always a fave, the nil-beef was similar to a fake beef slice product I had bought before and the nil-pork was new for me but loved it because growing up I always used to have vietnamese spam and this is basically the vegan version!
