Miyoko's Creamery

I’ve had “sweet” vegan cream cheese before (cinnamon raisin, strawberry, pumpkin) but I don’t think I’ve ever had a “sweet” cheese otherwise so this kind of felt like new territory with this cheese wheel. Turns out I really like this and it’s actually a pretty similar product to a sweet cream cheese - just a touch thicker. This cheese is so creamy and I love the cranberry and orange (a perfect combo) flavors throughout. I’ve been enjoying this on neutral flatbread crackers but it would be amazing on a bagel too or perhaps some seedy crackers or bread. Would be great on a holiday charcuterie or snack plate. It is a bit sweet from the sweetened cranberries but I don’t feel as though it is overly so.

Though I don’t like to prescribe to “Thanksgiving” per say, I always make my grandma’s cranberry orange relish around that time each year as my dad really loved it and I do too…..so perhaps this combo is a bit extra special for that reason too!

I snagged this at Grocery Outlet; they’ve had a good smattering of Miyoko’s products lately which I’m guessing is due to the rebranding/repackaging. I’m still a bit conflicted about supporting Miyoko’s at full retail/moving forward due to the complicated issues and split from Miyoko but I can say I’d like to keep enjoying this cheese. (Luckily I did buy two from GO.)

$4.99 at Grocery Outlet
