I am sold! I cannot wait to get back to the store to buy every box there!
It reminds me of the original #woolworths / #woolworthsfood protein strips that I absolutely LOVED and that they messed up SO badly in my opinion when they replaced them with the “chicken-less” strips which the texture isnt the same and have a funny smell and taste to them.
Anyway back to these. I like that it doesn’t have an underlying taste that alot of the fake chickens have. I love the very realistic meaty texture and that they fry crispy.
The packaging is eco friendly like the linda McCartney stuff but like their stuff it melts and goes soggy easily and I think that’ll be a problem at the stores.
The pic isn’t the greatest, I’ll try it in other ways like in a wrap and a salad. You could definitely do a toasted chic mayo sandwich.
