Review of Four Horseman Pizza at Donna Jean by bandita

Mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, crushed tomato, pesto, oregano. This is a popular restaurant and dish among the vegan community in San Diego, so I came here on a visit. Kind of pricey, and pizza was alright. Not my top favorite, but I’m kind of choosy because I’m used to some really good vegan pizza at other pizzerias. I’d like to return here someday though for their Mac & Cheese. Make sure you make reservations. I didn’t realize that it was needed, but they were nice to give us a table, probably because we got there upon opening. #sandiego

***Update***. I just had my first leftover by heating it up in my air fryer and had to go back here to change the taste from 4 to 5 stars! It made the crust just the right amount of crispness and somehow brought out all the flavors of spices, seasonings, or whatever they used. I’m so glad that I only ate 1 slice at the restaurant because now I have a lot of leftovers to enjoy even more! I put most of it in the freezer and just thaw what I’m going to eat soon. This is one of my top favorite pizzas now, but I’d have to enjoy it at home (or with someone else who has a toaster oven or air fryer).
