Soy Sea Urchin Gratin うにたん at Plant-based Tokyo — jessskh's Review (Aug 27, 2023)

This place is located in a food hall in Shinjuku. It is 100% vegan and had lots of dishes that I wanted to try! I got this soy sea urchin gratin as one of the three side dishes ordered on this visit! Apparently there's limited quantity but I was there just before the lunch time rush so it was all good. It came out looking like its picture and incidentally also like the soy lasagne (which doesn’t look like its picture). Like the sea urchin pasta, this one also mildly tasted like sea urchin. I tend to be very attracted to dishes like this that are quite carby and seem somewhat cheesy. There were some veggies hiding beneath the top layer and was very creamy. I would get again. It was priced at ¥660 which suits its size.
