The sweet and jammy fresh fig is a treasure that cannot be replaced BUT these freeze dried figs slices are an interesting and fun
way to enjoy figs as well (especially after the all too short dig season ends). These slices are delicately sweet and crispy. They are fine to eat on their own but can also serve as a crunchy and fun topping. Since I know some fancy folks pair figs and cheese I also tried some with a lightly flavored vegan cheese and it was quite good!
These are a bit pricy considering the quantity but freeze dried items usually are, and figs are typically a higher priced fruit so it seems reasonable. Would repurchase.
