My sister bought this salsa from Fresh Direct for our trip out in East Hampton. As the name of this salsa correctly states, it’s fresh! Honestly, it tastes homemade, with diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeño and peppers among its ingredients. There a bit of heat to it, but still considerably mild. I also thought it tasted a bit vinegary.
I like that’s there are no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
Nutritionally, it’s fat free (as it should be) and there’s little sodium. One serving (2 tablespoons) also provides 6% of your day’s recommended vitamin C and 4% of your day’s recommended vitamin A.
I’m so glad my sister ordered this salsa. I look forward to having it again.
