So hey, Belvita now has plant-based breakfast soft-bakes. This was my first time trying. handy I suppose, although a crumbly, so i still eat them out of a bowl.
worth acknowledging they’re part of Mondelez international (aka Kraft), who of course have a reputation for being among the top companies for exploiting children, and indeed animals. The Vegan-Soc certification and sunflower label, as we know, tends to apply only to the ingredient list, and is usually blind to other forms of exploitation. In this instance, I myself didn’t stop to consider, but moving forward i’ll be more mindful, and don’t think I’ll recommend or buy from them.
