Review of Toast Skagen at Café Mirell by nyssa-katie

When I was in Sweden, I wanted to try out new vegan restaurants or cafés and found this one and went there with some friends.

It's absolutely amazing and I just loved my stay there.

The atmosphere is really calm and relaxing. You can get some free water at the 'bar' and also play some games or cards with your friends.

I got to try the Toast Skagen which was delicious. If you order this, you'll get two roasted sourdough slices (probably in olive oil) with tofu in a cream on it.

I don't really know what exactly it is, but probably the vegan version of something with fish. Because I could see some tiny vegan 'balls' (I'm guessing: vegan caviar because it had an orange color)

The salad (Sommarsallad) was also very good. It had some nice dressing and got some nice veggies in it.

The cinnamon buns were really fluffy and delicious as well.

The lemon cake tasted a bit too much like coconut for my taste, so it wasn't my favorite but still good to eat.

You should definitely try it yourself. Also, I think that it's a nice café to get to know the vegan cuisine. I'm pretty sure that every dish will show how nice and fresh vegan food can be.

It's a bit more expensive, but absolutely worth it.
