Review of Plant Based Original - Babybel Plant-Based by marykathryncs
I was excited to try these because the original Babybel cheeses were always so convenient for a quick snack and protein pick-me-up. I like that the container packaging is paper instead of the plastic mesh bags, so that’s a plus!
They have a slight vinegar scent to them and have a little bit harder of a consistency than the originals. The flavor was pretty bland, but I only made it through 3/4s of the one I had before getting tired of it and the vinegar.
I wish I had looked at the nutritional facts before buying because I probably wouldn’t have bought them to begin with since they have no protein.
If I’m really craving the experience of Babybel again I’ll probably buy them, but I don’t think these will be a grocery staple.
