Review of Happiness Bowl at Genius Central Singapore by iloveanimals87

This dish caught my eye on the menu because of its enticing name and description. It was beautifully presented. The vegetables, including spring mix, corn, pickles, and tomatoes, were super refreshing and crunchy. The pickles and pickle brine added a nice pop of flavor. One thing I found intriguing about this bowl, which is essentially a #salad, is that there is no dressing. Now this is great for people who are on a diet, as dressing is by far the most caloric part of salads. However, I personally felt like it was not enough food to keep me full and a couple hours later I got hungry again. I’m starving as I’m writing this review 😫 Happiness bowl? More like hanger bowl 😭

So overall I’d recommend this dish if you’re on a diet but otherwise I think it would be better to have one of the many other wonderful dishes available at #geniuscentral. This salad was $18 SGD and while it was yummy, it’s def one of those things you could easily make at home for much cheaper, and your money would likely better be spent on one of the more unique dishes that can’t easily be made at home, like the laksa or creamy mushroom pasta 😋 Next time I go I think I’ll stick to the laksa, which I had last time and really enjoyed. Or perhaps I’ll try one of their Mediterranean dishes!
