Review of Pitted Dried Dates - Parnoosh by louisg

I bought this package of dates for baking (which I haven’t gotten around to doing), but I truly enjoy eating dates on their own. They’re sweet, delicious and healthy. What more can you ask for? There’s only one ingredient (dates) and they’re loaded with fibre. Dates are nature’s laxative.

I didn’t realize these were “dried” dates when I had purchased them. The packaging is exactly the same as Parnoosh’s Pitted Dates that aren’t dried.  It was only after I had opened the package and noticed the dates were not ‘fresh’ that I realized I had purchased dried dates. Oddly enough, they don’t have a dry taste; they still taste fresh. I suppose I can easily soak them in water for a few minutes to transition these dried dates to fresh dates. 

Dried or fresh, I will get Parnoosh dates again.
