Review of vegatsu at Wagamama by kava-i-trava

The dish consists of tofu and soy protein cutlet coated in panko breadcrumbs topped with white rice and curry sauce. The dish is served with side salad. I really enjoyed the katsu part of the dish :D cutlet had a good texture, good flavour and the breading was crispy. The rice was also cooked perfectly and the sauce, although it had a nice flavour, had no deepness of flavour I was expecting. So, all in all, the dish was nice but I was a bit dissapointed because I was expecting much more, my expectation was really flavourful and aromatic curry. I guess a little bit of blandness is not that odd for a chain restaurant and my expectations were too high. The side salad was a nice and fresh addition to the dish.
Price of the dish was 13,7 £, and there are lots of clearly labeled vegan options.
