VEGAN

#compostable, #ethicallymade, #palmoilfree

Much richer and creamier than other vegan chocolates I’ve tried but still tastes more like dark chocolate than milk chocolate. I haven’t yet found a vegan milk chocolate that doesn’t have a bittersweet aftertaste.

Image description:
Photo 1: Cardboard packaging that reads “Loving Earth. Organic plant-based Hazelnut Mylk Chocolate with Raw Asháninka Cacao. 30% hazelnut butter. 80g, food is sacred”, with an illustration of a hazelnut on a purple background.
Photo 2: The back of the packaging that reads “Plant-based. Organic. Gluten Free. Compostable Packaging. Cane Sugar Free. The Asháninka community grow their cacao deep in the Amazon. They are the traditional custodians of the forest, under constant pressure from outsiders wanting to cut down trees. By harvesting their regeneratively grown cacao, they preserve both their beautiful culture and the rainforest itself. By buying this bean to bar chocolate you help the Asháninka grow more cacao. When the unroasted beans arrive in our hands, we make our own magic, blending them with finely ground hazelnut butter. So here it is… velvety, smooth and subtly nutty.
Ingredients: cacao* (42%) (cacao butter*, raw cacao beans**), creamed hazelnut* (30%), evaporated coconut nectar**, pink lake salt*, cashew*, almond*, 42% min cacao
*certified organic *direct trade
Contains hazelnut, cashew, almond.
Not suitable for people with tree nut allergies.”
