Review of Extra Firm Tofu - Soykei by dansvatek
I admit i was attracted to the #modern 60s-looking packaging of this #tofu, even though it cost more than the average tofu block. Then, flipping the package, it’s got #Bcorp certification, which generally means #environmentallyfriendly so what the hooey I bought it.
It… was tofu. Fine I guess? I did notice you get more : 500g, compared to the usual 400. So the extra grammage plus the environmental credentials make it #worthit.
On the website they mention they purchase only from #local Quebec farms, resulting in a much smaller carbon footprint and no worries about #soybean monoculture in far-off countries and all that.
