Dandan noodles at MAZU — Liz Maselli's Review (Jun 5, 2023)

This was my favorite dish we ordered. However, it was difficult to eat in the 93-degree weather, lol. The wide cut noodles had spicy sesame sauce, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, and pickled mustard greens. The sesame sauce on the noodles was really thick and creamy, and I loved the shiitake mushrooms. It is #spicy and had some red pepper flakes mixed in, so just a warning if you're like me and have trouble with the heat! My only real complaint is the price and value. This was a kind of a small portion for the price. The noodles I'm holding up are about all the noodles in the entire dish for $13. The quality was great, the staff was great, and the restaurant was very charming with pro LGBTQ and women's rights artwork covering the walls. Which I love!!!!
