Oatmilk Chocolate Plant Based Dessert by Petit Pot — kyu's Review (May 29, 2023)

I’m very much on team dark chocolate, but I can get into milkier stuff #forthedollar. I had these a few months ago but forgot to write them up because they seemed so similar to the dark #chocolate French pudding I reviewed previously. Perhaps my palate isn’t as discerning as I thought, since I couldn’t really pinpoint any definitive differences — if anything, it felt a bit softer and less-gelled than the previous pudding, but the flavor was almost exactly the same: rich, creamy, and chocolatey, but a tad on the sweet side for me.
(On closer inspection of the ingredients, I feel vindicated; the only difference is water vs. #oatmilk! Everything else — fat content, added sugar, etc., — is the same.)

I haven’t purchased them since, in large part because sweet chocolate pudding isn’t something I crave (and they’re rather expensive.) Also, jars no longer come with durable lids; you have to buy them from the Petit Pot website. Still, the open glass containers are useful enough for storing herb clippings and the like — I’ve converted mine into little windowsill homes for spider plant pups.
