Have been meaning to try the Sunday roast for years and finally made a reservation. Yes, make a reservation! Because the Sunday roast is so popular that it’s pretty much impossible to walk-in and have a meal without one. Every table to in use when we went.
And it’s easy to see why. The roast was spectacular. A meaty Wellington slice and homemade Yorkshire pudding served with roast potatoes and lots of seasonal vegetables. Topped off with freshly made herb and vegetable gravy.
It was the best vegan roast we’ve had. Two non-vegans in our party even stated how lovely it was and they would be happy to eat it again.
