the early vegan at Sea View Cafe/Bar — andybest82's Review (May 1, 2023)

I did not take the pic of the dish. In fact I found this pic on the restaurant's FB page. At the time I was so underwhelmed I did not think it made sense to take out my camera. The early vegan is the same as the vegan breakfast dish in the pic without the sausage mushroom and tomato. It was less filling than the ftira and more expensive. My biggest gripe however is the look of the scrambled tofu. Such a simple recipe it's impossible not to have it look as it does in this pic i.e right. It was watery.. or watered down. Less like a mound, more like a puddle. Rather than large chunks it seemed liquidised. I'm being nothing but honest and therefore will still say it all tasted good. Thing is I know they can do better as one can attest from their own pic. And I admit it was remiss for us not to have complained on the spot but until I saw this pic I assumed they're still learning... But clearly they know better.
