Review of Meat Haters Slice at Forever Pie by beckyyy

The buzzed about new LA vegan pizza joint Forever Pie is at Coachella this year and their pizza is definitely worth the hype. Yes the prices listed here are high, but this is festival pricing and restaurant pricing would be more reasonable.

The crust is nice and pliable and tasty. I didn’t notice any “vegan cheese” flavor to the cheese and it was nicely melted. The toppings were so tasty and flavorful. They are one of the first to use Beyond Meat pepperoni and boy do I hope it comes to stores soon as this would be a game changer in regards to an easily accessible store bought vegan pepperoni. I’m not sure where the mock bacon and sausage were sourced but they’re incredible.

My boyfriend eats vegan food at home but isn’t vegan; he has gone to this stand 3 times so far rather than go for the non-vegan pie he’s been getting every festival for around 15 years….so it’s definitely non-vegan approved as well.
