VEGAN

Nasoya

Haven’t done a review for a while, but I recently came across this amazing product, and had to do a review! If you have this in your store, you MUST give it a try.

I love seitan, and I try whatever brand that makes it, Nasoya, hands down, has been the best so far. I also really like the SweetEarth Chickn’ seitan, but this has an awesome chewy texture, the marinade is stellar, and all around very flavorful!

My one gripe, as it is with most vegan food, is price AND quantity. If you guys have read my previous reviews you’ll know that I’m adamant about having vegan brands apply for government subsidization. All animal based products are subsidized and paid for by our taxes. There’s nothing cheap about pumping animals full of expensive chemicals (hormones and such), the slaughter equipment, cleaning it, feeding them, land etc. yet it’s so much cheaper than any of these vegan brands, vegan food demanding much less during production.

I ask you, why should ppl with progressive values, with a conscience, have to pay more for the progressive choices we make that benefits everyone? Why should our taxes support abuse, psychosis, slaughter, ecological disaster, and all the PTSD, child abuse, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol abuse that come from slaughter house work?

If you agree, and you want change, write to your favorite brand and demand they apply for government subsidization like animal abusing companies do! Lowering the price below animal based products, or at least make them as cheap, and also having comparable quantity, will encourage/entice people to switch to vegan food, especially in this economy and price gauging greed and abuse from corporations. It’s the perfect time to create this change!

Subsidizing and lowering the price below animal based products will actually help animals, the environment, and our socioeconomic values. Otherwise they’re just another capitalist brand exploiting people’s conscience, and we have to hold them accountable and keep pestering them and creating problems for them, until they make that switch to subsidization!

If only 500,000 people can afford this food, while trillions of people keep buying animal abuse, vegan movement has no effect and doesn’t help anything it stands for, not animals, not the environment, not our socioeconomic values. Change has to start with the price, because the food is getting more and more delicious, like this seitan! We also need effective marketing just like McDonald’s and all these brands use to brainwash ppl to buy their products by plastering it everywhere, always commercializing it with mesmerization, etc.

#SubsidizeVeganBrands and talk to more people to encourage them to demand this! Spread it around!

Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you at the next review!
