Review of Black Sabbath Donut at Holey Grail Donuts by kyu

Full disclosure, I’m not familiar with Black Sabbath’s discography, but safe to say that this donut absolutely rocked. In a spin on the classic sugar donut, the surface was encrusted with a sweet and subtly nutty blend of sugar and crushed black #sesame. There was also a caramelized slice of #banana (possibly a local apple banana?) draped over the edge. Thanks to the neat presentation and highly original flavor combination, this ended up narrowly beating out Chocolate Crunch to become my favorite donut of the box. The flavors at this food truck rotate weekly, so it’s anyone’s guess when this one will go on tour again, but it’s very much worth trying if it does reappear!
