Last month I had my first ever afternoon tea at Anna’s tea room in the Bedford Swan hotel, it was a delight! And…vegan!
Included a selection of sandwiches such as avocado, red pepper & mozzarella. Scones with jam & cream and my favourite bit- a selection of cakes- chocolate & cherry tart, lemon & elderflower cake.
It’s only right to wash it down with a few cups of tea 🫖 earl grey in my case (I know controversial) served with oat milk.
In all not bad considering it was very hard to find many vegan afternoon tea options around, and the price £17pp is not bad.
They also have vegetarian & gluten free menus.
