I have yet to come across a Gardein product I didn’t like. These Crispy Chick’n Fingers don’t disappoint. The coating is indeed crispy, beautifully seasoned with a hint of lime and chipotle. The texture of the inside is certainly chicken-like.
Nutritionally, there's no shortage of protein and other minerals and vitamins in the chick'n fingers. But I'm not too keen on the long list of ingredients and the abundant sodium content, even though some of the ingredients are non-GMO verified. Rightly or wrongly, it's not enough to deter me from buying this again.
One thing I recently noticed at the top of Gardein packaging is the slogan “ALWAYS VEGAN”. I hope the company remains vegan and continues to offer only vegan products. It would be a shame if it were to offer non-vegan products to appeal to a wider customer base.
