This is yet another review of a snack / treat that was part of the Bunny Box Christmas gift I received from my thoughtful sister.

We’ve probably all tried fig bars before, but these ones seem a little thicker, with a bit more filling. I love blueberry, so the extra bit of blueberry filling makes it more appealing to me. But unfortunately the bars come with a lot of sugar, most of which is “added sugar” (Canadian law doesn’t require food manufacturers to indicate the amount of added sugar, only the total sugar content. Thankfully, US law requires this transparency for better decision-making)

Also on the nutritional front, there’s a low amount of sodium which is good. On the positive side, the fig bars are a delicious source of fibre and iron. Surprisingly, there isn’t any palm oil in these.

I’m sure these bars are available in Toronto. Thankfully the Bunny Box contains 2 packs of these blueberry fig bars.
