These #fingerfood wings were supposed to have been consumed during the Super Bowl, but I filled up on chips and guacamole and completely forgot about them. To be honest, I’m not actually sure why I bought them in the first place, since I’m not a huge fan of #buffalowings. The sauce made my eyes water; it was especially vinegary (but also hardly spicy?) The breading did crisp up nicely in the oven, but I didn’t love the texture underneath, and everything seemed excessively salty. Being that each package is essentially two sausages, sliced and battered, it’s not the best value, either. I like Field Roast, but I’ll be sticking with their classic, un-winged sausages going forward.

I have a love/hate relationship with these. I love the way they crisp up, but agree the salt can be overwhelming.
