Chia seeds are an excellent source of fiber, which can improve heart health, reduce cholesterol levels and promote intestinal health.
I eat chia seeds every day in overnight oats, a smoothie or with an apple + peanut butter. I love their crunchiness. They plump up a little if soaked and remind me of tapioca pearls. They are little nutrient powerhouses.
