Review of Black Truffle Pizza at Purezza - Vegan Pizza Camden by rosemaryevanshughes

I ordered the black truffle pizza from Purezza as truffle is one of my favourite savoury flavours and the description described it as having a ‘black truffle base’. I felt that this was quite deceptive as the base tasted exactly like a black olive tapenade, however, olives were not mentioned in the description at all. I also could not taste any truffle which was a real shame as this pizza was also one of the more expensive ones. I don’t know whether the sauce is always like this or whether they had ran out of the truffle sauce so had decided to use a substitute but either way I was disappointed. My partner had the Nduja pizza and that was tasty so I would go again but this experience has put me off a bit.
