Review of Japanese Teriyaki - The Noodle Poodle by ktanith
Last year when my #vegankids teacher announced they would celebrate a class milestone with a “grilled cheese day” the drama began with finding a vegan option she would be proud to bring (she has never been crazy about #vegancheese). The teacher then announced that instant noodle cups were also okay to bring.😅
Even though most instant noodle cups are loaded with #palmoil and msg, I of course folded. And thus began my kids’ obsession with unhealthy noodle cups. 😒
I was so glad when brands like #Itsu and The Noodle Poodle, with natural ingredients and multiple vegan options, appeared on the shelves. The Noodle Poodle is now our favorite because they are dedicated to being 100% #plantbased. These noodle cups have #noadditives and they are #palmoilfree. 🎊 Every flavor is vegan and unique, but the #japanese #teriyaki is our favorite.
The noodles have a nice bite and there is a generous serving of #shitakemushrooms. If you’re like us and don’t have a microwave, you can also empty the packages into a pot and heat them easily on the stove. If I could change anything it would be the noodle to sauce ratio. More yummy, thick ramen noodles please. 🙏🙏🙏 And maybe a bit less sugar in the sauce.
Now, at her new school she’s allowed to bring noodles every day. After bringing Noodle Poodle noodles daily for weeks she got some kind of nickname. I believe it was #noodlegirl. 😉
