Review of Carrot Cake at Chef Tanya's Kitchen by triciaa

When ordering a variety of food from an all vegan restaurant, we had to sample the desserts too! This vegan carrot cake was out of this world. The cake was dense in a good way and it was not dry at all. The bottom of the cake was a little bit browned. Not burnt at all but just a golden crust around the edges. The star though is the cream cheese frosting. Wow! I think it had orange zest or some kind of citrus in it and it was so good. The cake was just the right amount of sweet for my taste. We were talking about it still the next morning! I’m not sure it was a good value but we split one slice and felt very happy.
