It def has this smoked taste n smell, true to description.
But I d address once again that compared to what you can get from the Chinese supermarket, this is too expensive with so little product…
I cooked it with one of my fav sauce, “hongshao”, but it’s not that friendly to pantry, you can’t have that lovely contrast between a hard fried shell n tender inside.
