Thought I’d do something special to commemorate the event and lo and behold, here I am having boba for the first time in like 5 years! The texture and look of boba always kinda freaked me out cuz it reminds me of eyeballs, and although I find it tolerable, I don’t think I’ll be having those pearls again anytime soon 😅 The drink itself though was really good! Had it at 25% sugar at the recommendation of the very friendly staff and it was the perfect level of sweetness and milkiness. Generous with the amount of boba too. As an earl grey tea lover, I would’ve preferred more of a stronger taste but would still get it again! (just without the pearls) 😜
