Snow Skin Mooncake at Mama Dut — pdxveg's Review (Jan 21, 2023)

This consisted of beet root snow skin filled with mung bean, coconut, and durian paste. Aromatic and lightly sweet, it’s a perfect "anytime" dessert or snack. The red and yellow represent the colors of Vietnam 🇻🇳. Eating round food during this time of year is also meant to usher in prosperity and good fortune, because round food is shaped like and represents gold coins 🥮🧧. Cheers to a prosperous 2023!
