Review of Seitan Bio - Vemondo by gingersaint
🇬🇧 By now it's no secret to anyone that I prefer to make seitan at home simply washing the flour, but having a package of ready-made product in the fridge can always help, so I generally keep a spare.
I used it to prepare a quick stew for a meal that I had to take with me on the road, the texture is obviously very different from the one I make at home, but I don't find it unpleasant or overly chewy and the flavor is quite neutral, perhaps it remains a little too soft after cooking it, but probably depends on other kind of textures I’m used to.
🇮🇹 Ormai non è un segreto per nessuno che io preferisca preparare in casa il seitan, però avere in frigo una confezione di prodotto già pronto può sempre servire quindi ne tengo generalmente una di scorta.
L'ho usato per preparare uno spezzatino veloce per un pasto che dovevo portarmi in viaggio, la consistenza è ovviamente diversissima da quello fatto in casa, ma non la trovo sgradevole né eccessivamente gommosa e il sapore è abbastanza neutro, forse per come sono abituata rimane un po' troppo morbido dopo averlo cucinato.
