Butter lettuce is my absolute favorite lettuce! It has crunchy ribs but tender leaves. The lettuce stays fresh for awhile since the roots are attached. I love using this lettuce for lettuce cups.
I just wish I could purchase a head of this lettuce without the plastic. This container is recyclable in my area so that’s good, but we know a lot of times this type of plastic doesn’t end up getting recycled because of contamination.
Because of the plastic and price I don’t buy these often, but when I do I really enjoy the lettuce
